I have this model and I prefer it to larger lawnmowers, especially gas-powered ones. It takes more passes over the lawn, but it is much more maneuverable and easy to get over the uneven parts of my lawn. which are all over the place. I work in sections and don't have to make a pattern to show off some stripes or diagonal lines. I just need to get over the rough patches and the smooth ones to make the grass look mowed. This thing works just fine and it's easier to use than the big and heavy stuff.

At this price, I wonder if I should have a spare.

Decent deal but dealing with a cord on this would be a PITA, plus a 14" mower is extremely small. If you have a small yard this would be fine but I have what is likely about an "average" American size lawn and wouldn't even think about trying to mow it with a 14" mower, unless you're really looking for a workout lol.

For those unfamiliar, the bag is removed and a 90-degree chute is swapped in. This prevents the side discharge chute from interfering with obstacles it would normally hit.

Dumb question, but how do you compare the power of a plug in lawn mower to cordless? I have a very, very tiny yard. I just bought the Costco cordless deal, which for me seems overkill. A cord would be fine for me because the yard really is small. Would this do the job? I have Bermuda grass.
