I have this piano... this is the best bang-for-the-buck 88 key fully weighted piano on the market.

It doesn't have lots of bells and whistles but software can take care of that if you want 100 different sounds. If you are just interested in learning piano, great buy. The nice thing about it is it's footprint... because it doesn't have tons of garbage built into it, it's one of the smallest keyboards in depth out there. I am able to fit a computer keyboard and mouse in front of it and have it hooked up to a computer for learning.

This is a great price. Also available for back orders at Musicians Friend and Woodwind Brasswind. Hopefully these actually ship.

It's pretty much perfect for that. Basically the cheapest you should go for someone learning actual piano that still has the features you'd need to translate over to real pianos (weighted keys + different volume based on how hard you hit the keys).

Where's the keyboard that Gene has in Bob's Burgers? My son wants the one that can bark and fart.

How does this compare to Costco's Casio CSP S90 for $399? Looks similar except it has wooden stand, nicer bench as well as music rest. Which one is good among both?

Ive played for a while, but looking to start again after taking a long break, how is this for someone intermediate to advanced vs like a Roland fp 30?

If you have a PC or a tablet, you should be able to hook this up and map keys to any sound you want. It has a USB port coming out of it that you can connect up to your other device.

From what I gather, the s90 and s100 look to be identical. You're paying the extra $50 for the extra hardware, but both seem to be good deals.

Must haves (in my opinion): 88 keys, weighted/graded keys, ideally keys that are solid at the edge (as in no empty space that you can see below them). Also a stand other than the one pictured (no "X" bars underneath that block your legs), unless you plan on standing the entire time, which I would NOT recommend for beginners. And last but not least, though only important if you really get into it, a proper pedal (not one of those mouse-looking like ones that just constantly wander away from you).

How does this compare to the Yamaha p45? I picked one up for $549 but if they're really not any different I'd swap to this one

Still bummed to this day - the week of July 4th in 2017 or 2018, I walked into a Guitar Center and they had the CDP-S350 (very similar to this, albeit it has more tones, and has a very nice LCD screen that glows orange), and they had it on sale for $350 as their July 4th sale. I thought it was still expensive and passed. I think the lowest I've seen the S350 since that sale ended is $450 on sale.

Very curious about this as well. My wife wants a keyboard and had her eye on a P45. This is much cheaper.

Can this be used as a midi controller? I don't see anything that would confirm that.

For reference I have an M1 Mac Mini and would be using this with Logic.
