I try to buy "made in the USA" whenever possible. In mechanical and machine tools, though, Taiwanese manufacturers often have both better quality and lower prices

Back when I was younger and working on cars all the time I would have jumped on this deal without a second through. But now I just can't justify it. Thumbs up for a good deal on a decent quality set for anyone that does need it.

Looks like the 19 piece is the same price as the 15 piece and includes both the wrenches with a hook and pic set

These sets were 229 about 2 weeks ago. They may be coming out with a new set as these rarely go on sale.

Can't tell if these are made in USA or not. On Home Depot's website it says made in Taiwan in the comments. I thought that Milwaukee built a new plant in USA for hand tools? Confused

They have had several factories in Mississippi for years making blades and related gear.

Their new factory in Wisconsin will start with pliers and screwdrivers, but since that just opened earlier this month, it may be a while before they hit store shelves.

man there ain't nothing like a straight handle / head ratcheting wrench. Beats ALL!! If I need offset, well then I get a ratchet and appropriately sized socket

I agree but I use my various offset wrench's all the time. Sometimes a ratchet is too deep to work.
