Garmin released the Forerunner 255 and 955 [garmin.com] (with various variants) at the beginning of June 2022. These new releases (and other wearables) are now eligible for discounts through the usual places (Unidays, Optimity, Miles, Health Insurance sites). I have verified that the 20% discounts offered by Unidays, Optimity (app), and Blue365deals.com (Blue Cross Blue Shield) are now working. Others may work, potentially with greater discounts.
Note, you must either click through the participating website (like Blue365deals) or obtain a coupon (Unidays, Optimity) to receive the discount.
TheIdahoan provided the following instructions for obtaining the Optimity coupon:
Download the Optimity App, from the Apple [apple.com] or Google [google.com]App Store.
Complete the signup process, which should earn you 180 rewards points, putting you 20-shy of the required 200 rewards points for a Garmin discount.
Earn at least 20-more rewards points, by completing a quiz, going for a walk and recording it in the app, or similar.
Go to the App's rewards tab, and and redeem your point balance for "20% off Garmin wearables and scales"
Receive a discount code in your email that allows you to take 20% off applicable items on Garmin.com
