I paid this price at the start of the pandemic. Then they doubled it during the pandemic.
They were great at the start, but over time some of them plastic started cracking on the plates… and I haven't been dropping them or slamming them. The dumbbells are reasonable sturdy when using, however the higher the weight, the more the rattle when using. The plates also stick sometimes and that just gets annoying.
Overall, I'd say at $260 for a set I personally got a lot of use out of these. They're worth the $260, but I'd never pay more then that. The fact that they bumped it up and tried charging people $400+ for a set is insane!
$10 more for ProForm so I don't know that I'm sold on this
For the ProForm from what I'm seeing the 5lb increments on the ProForm can leave the dumbbell unbalanced (with more plates on one side than the other).
On these it looks like the 5 lb increments are distributed evenly from the youtube video ps200901 shared.

Check prctz dumbells. They are cheaper on the Walmart site. I bought during pandemic with no problems.
