This is the new model PCL811 not the old P3320. This model has been only out a few months and has not appeared on DTO at least from what I've seen and a quick search of new (PCL811) and refurb (ZRPCL811) model numbers shows nothing on their site.

This one has been reviewed by youtubers as being quieter and more airflow than the older fan.

Oh yeah, add $15 shipping to that $20 cheapest ever price on DTO for an actual cost of $35 for the old fan. I know I paid about $25 around 4 years ago (for refurb as well, not new) on what I thought was almost the cheapest they had it. (It's $45 + $15 shipping right now = $60).

Therefore this deal for brand new in box; not refurb; with the 2x 4AH non-HP newer batteries is really not that terrible -- if you need the batteries. But there are more valuable tools to get as the free tool instead of the fan with this offer.

I use this fan everyday and it last for days! On low setting I can even have virtual meetings without worry.

ive been looking for a good portable fan with rechargable battery.
this seems like a good option.

with included batteries how long do these last on medium setting (assuming medium setting is good enough for bedroom)

I know this is apple and chicken but both are food... so can you compare it to the box fan that can be bought for around $15?
I don't have this one, I have the Ridgid version. It's about as useful as a box fan. Not fantastic but decent. It's more directional, smaller and well built.

It's sort of difficult to compare these to regular fans, a regular fan might easily pull 50+ watts. These pull a lot less wattage because of the battery ability (around 18 max for the ridgid). Less wattage=less air flow.

Still, I'm not sure why people would use these with batteries in a garage?? I got this Ridgid in case of a power failure and have it hooked with a cord. my wife really seems to like it when traveling.

I don't use box fans anymore, it's either something small like this or powerful 20 inch tornado strength Master Force fans…

For the price these hybrid fans are….you would think they could use metal blades…

Wish I could get smaller batteries I have way too many 4a
If only you were near Memphis, I'd trade you smalls for some 4Ahs. I ended up with more smalls than I need or want.

The $60 deal comes with one 2Ah high performance battery
This $99 deal comes with two 4Ah batteries

I purchased the $60 deal yesterday and demo'd the 2Ah high perf battery all night
My experience: By morning, the battery was dead FWIW.
4 hours at Setting 3 (High) and the rest of the night at Setting 2 (Medium).

The ryobi fan's advantages are its portability and ability to run on a battery... If you have the space and outlet - box fan will move more air. I personally use the Ryobi on camping trips and other trips to have a fan in the bedroom. Sometimes even when there is an outlet available it's just easier to pop in a battery into the Ryobi fan.

this fan is night and day compared to the older model I bought the same 2 battery and old model fan deal back in June
I'm glad I went through the trouble to reorder and exchange the old fan for the new one
new fan at max is still quieter and draws more air than the old fan, at 2 setting new fan is almost as powerful as max on the old but it is so quiet

If you at a mechanic and are working on a car you'll need this especially on the inside of a car with no AC. Chords get in the way. I carry this all around the garage and outside with no hassle. The 4ah battery last for hours. 2 of them can run over 8 -10 hours.

Or shade tree mechanics. Any air flow helps keep mosquitoes away.

My current 18V battery for my leaf blower is getting weaker. Had to jump on this deal to get the 2 batteries, and I opted for the orbital buffer for car waxing. Seemed like a great deal to keep on using my already owned Ryobi leaf blower and tire inflator with 2 fresh new batteries. Thanks OP. Perfect timing for me.

Ryobi days usually has two batteries a charger and a free tool, one of which is usually this fan, but offers some better tools to choose from, for $99. Surprised it limits you to only the fan here.
It doesn't. There are easily a dozen of these/they've been running them for months. Since before fathers day. They are just getting smart enough to sell them as a package so all the battery "hackers" can't keep gaming the system.
