My wife seems obsessed with finding the perfect bottle washer so we seem to have multiple versions for the task. Versions that have medium firm plastic brushes seem to work the best. I believe anyway, the wife may have performed additional testing however since I received the last report and perhaps we have a new version that is the gold standard.
On a related note, I have found that dishwasher powder to be one of those things you should keep a box of under the sink. Even if you use tabs for the washer. Of it's many uses I have found that a teaspoon of it in the Yeti mug, then filled with warm to hot water and allowed to sit for a few hours ends up leaving the insides like new. Use a bottle brush for a few seconds, it doesn't even have to be a gold standard bottle brush, to remove any coffee stains that don't just wash away. Dishwasher powder, Walmart brand….indispensable.
I have no experience with this specific brush, but shaking soap and water around in a bottle does absolutely nothing to buildup. Even a flimsy brush would be better.
POS! Flimsy. Better off doing the bachelor soap shake...Hot water, soap, and shake. Done

This seems handy. Anyone have experience with it?

I bought a new toilet brush to clean water bottles. It works well because the bristles are stiffer compared to the water bottle cleaning brushes I've used.

Thanks for the info - so this one is the new gold standard? Thanks also for the tip at the end.

I use all different approaches including bottle brush, descale cleaner and throwing the dobie sponge in and whirling it around with a utensil. All are effective. You should be rinsing and drying frequently and alternating bottles. To check, remove the silicon seal and see if it's nasty. I seen that happen if u keep it continuously wet for months on end, you'd expect to have to clean it thoroughly.

It's long and stiff , so you can get to the bottom of 40oz bottles and rigid enough not to bend when scrubbing.
