X900H and X91J have X1 processor (mid level). X900H runs an Android apps platform. X91J runs a Google OS.

X90J has a better XR processor and features a Google smart apps platform.

X90K is the new version of the X90 J. They have the same apps platform and same processor. Rtings says the X90K is only slightly better than the X90J.

Am I missing something here? It seems the x900h gets better ratings almost across the board other than this one gets brighter. And I bought my 75 x900h almost 2 yrs ago for $1599 at Costco

Yeah the 85" X91CJ (the Costco branded X91J) is widely available in stores for $1649. It's almost just like your x900h, except it has Google instead of Android OS.

This thing is awesome. I've been a Samsung fan for the longest time so it was really hard to pull the trigger on this but I'm happy I did. I no longer think of Samsung as the king of panel production. The only thing I don't like about this is the cheap plastic trim. At this price, I kind of expected a nicer look.

I've seen this as well with rtings posting at one point to go with the 90J. The 900H was a solid and great TV, unfortunately for me I cannot find a new unit anymore and the kids just cracked my screen so this is a tempting deal.

Imho, yes, a lot more dimming zones due to a mini-led backlight. No deals as of yet. Waiting for one myself.

I think the X91CJ might be going even lower to make way for the new model ending in K. There are reports that it's available for as low as $1,200 in some Costco stores.

Rtings doesn't indicate that the x90k has improved from the x90j at all. In fact the x90k scores are lower than the x90j when you compare test bench scores version 1.6 for both screeens. Rtings has version 1.7 for the x90j and version 1.6 for the x90k. Once they retest the x90k with test bench 1.7, I'd expect scores to drop like the x90j did.
