I bought this model May 2021 and in July 22 the hinges broke. No rough use. Lenovo does not have option to even repair. Costco 2 nd year warranty goes to third party that asks for repair estimate.useless

Wife has been using hers heavily for 3 years now and the only problem is the wire from the charger. Otherwise, we didn't have problems.

Doubt many users need that much memory

Good deal. The display in this one, for the 1st time in Flex series, is a 100% sRGB one, similar one used in Yoga 7i 14 or HP Pavilion Plus 14 Base display option.

Been using my Flex i5 since 2017 and absolutely no problems with plastic base nor hinges, and I do use the hinges in tent mode often enough. Only issue in past year was my fingerprint scanner stopped working. Popped of the bottom cover, removed battery, and re-seated the flex cable to the scanner. Works like a charm once again.

I'm jumping on this one...not top shelf specs so do your research, but more than ok for my business / travel presentation needs, and much better than my 2017 2 core i5 8GB Flex for roughly the same I paid back then.

From the pictures I see that this laptop still has a barrel plug charger. Anyone know if it can it be charged via one of the usb c ports?

Might want to try again. I had no problem getting one replaced with a brand new unit when just 1 of the hinges broke. Was also through Costco 2nd year warranty.
