You don't need to swap the sim... you'll just log into your Tracfone account on their website, go to the activation area to set up the new phone & choose to keep your same #. Your existing minutes, texts & data transfer over to the new phone & you get the 1500 minutes, texts, 1.5GB Data & an extra year of service added to your account.

I usually save a screenshot of my minutes, texts & data beforehand just in case they don't update my account with everything, but usually it goes smoothly.
Wow, they really downgraded this 2022 version, a lot!
just wait 60 days after activating the included sim and it'll be unlocked https://www.tfwunlockpolicy.com/w...BIS9nQSEh/

Question: i got 8k points when i activated iphone 11 on $150 deal and i used top tier code from reddit.
I ordered this phone and i am planning to activate it and i should get 10k points?
So if i order 2 of these phones and keep my iphone 11 active for 61 days then i would have around 28k points and i can order iphone 11?
I just need to renew my iphone 11 to keep points and no need to renew these plans because they are for 1 year validity.
Thanks

All lines must be active for points to vest. Keep iPhone 11 active until 61 days after activation of your 2nd add-a-line.

Yes, both lines. 1st line 3 years ago. 2nd line 62 days. Then I asked the agent to merge 2 lines on the day. I got only 63 point for "activation". Now they denied the 7000 points reward since the 2nd line is deactivated. I met the requirements from beginning till 63rd day? Why did they deny after that required window? It's not fair.
For all intents and purposes, TF/VZW is making it very difficult to receive the reward points. It seems to take a lot of calls and persistence and even then the odds are 50:50. My last attempt was in Feb. before TF got heavy-handed. I added a line online and didn't get the points. Called the corporate number and the CSR looked at my account added in two increments, 6k and 1k. Looking back, I was lucky. Since then, I've read nothing but horror stories. I'm not heavily invested in TF, just a casual user (not buying to flip phones, etc) but I hesitate to even buy another phone and try to add a line. I'm down to a single line at the moment. It's just not worth the ensuing grief. TF should just change their policy instead of this passive-aggressive discouragement.

I activated a new line. I got 63 points. I chatted and was told the 10,000 had been added but will take 24-48 hours to show pending in my account.

Within the first 45 minutes of activating the phone I received 6 SPAM calls, and 2 SPAM text.

Please report back, but I'm sceptical.

I added 3 second lines today, each of those produced 10000 points pending almost immediately in the main accounts. All these 3 new phones were activated.

You did it by online, chat or call-in? Thanks

All by chat, they first add it, then activate. Pending 10000 points appear right away.

I merged two active lines by online chat two hours ago. One number is lost and its remaining service was moved to another number. I saw minutes/texts/data were added and service date was extended right way, but not the reward points. Anyone had this issue? Or just wait to see?

Not sure what you meant regarding rewards points. Rewards points can't be combined from different accounts. Also, you don't get bonus points by merging lines. Add-a-line bonus points disappear if you merged lines before points vest on day 61.

The points is ready to redeem. I was told by online chat that reward points would be combined so I went ahead to merge the two lines. Now I called and heard a different story. If I knew the points won't combine I would have redeemed it first before merging. Damn. Now I have a deactivated account (no number, no device) with 6000 points in it. Don't know what to do with it.

You can still redeem the 6,000 points in the account within 60 days. Easier to do with iOS app, but for service only (I can't redeem points for add-ons without moving the line to the account with points). Maybe some people know how to do it on TF website, but I can't make it work.

Check the service providers in India of what bands they use, but I would say no. The tracfone's DL model's have less available bands and they mostly cater to the US market. I would buy the Metro's version of this phone or get the Revvl V+ phone for $40.

https://slickdeals.net/f/15871423-metro-by-t-mobile-get-one-select-smartphone-30-days-of-service-40-new-accounts-no-port-in-required
I couldn't find it anywhere the supported band in this phone. I looked at the box and all the manual. How to know the supported bands?
I think the band supported should be same as regular moto g power.
