Came here to comment on this as well. They def. changed the thickness or density of the sponge. I'm not sure which it is. Sponge isn't as heavy/absorbent and started falling apart after 2 weeks.

Something's changed, one of these used to last a couple months, now barely a couple weeks and it's falling apart. I'm switching to Swedish dishcloths when I'm done with these sponges.

I haven't been to my local Costco this week, but I know these are on sale in the warehouse. Online they are showing $14.19 for a 21-pack, which is approx. $0.68 a sponge. They are probably even a little less in-store. This deal comes to about $0.64 a sponge, but my guess is the in-store price is even better at Costco.

With 15% S&S discount, this is about $0.54 per sponge before tax. So $0.03 more.
