If you can find it the pergola is super solid buy. I've had it for four around years and it was a little cheaper back then. No issues and no rust while being out in Chicago winters.

A buddy of mine grew up on the poorer side and has this impression of Aldi. I can see how it develops that way. But actually going to Aldi and experiencing their selection is definitely not worse than Walmart. It is on the cheaper side, yes, but cost savings is captured in carts, checkout, limited selection, etc.

Yep, especially if you try Lidl.....I get a 12pack Coke cans there for just $4 whilst Publix sells it close to $8 a pack.

Actually, I've found the quality of most Aldis items to be quite good. I still have a cordless wine opener that is still going strong like 10 years later.

Aldi has the best store brands of anywhere I've ever been aside from Costco with Kirkland Signature. There's the occasional bad item but I prefer many of their things to name brand at 50-70% cost.

And I've never had an issue with their milk spoiling quicker?

That offset umbrella, does it come with a weight? If not, are umbrella weights universally dimensioned, as in one picked up from a hardware will fit perfectly on this one's base?

This has not been my experience at all. Aldi's quality has been just as good as any other major store chain for me.

the deck box is a very good deal. Where did you find it? I was in the store a couple of days ago and saw no deck boxes at all at the seasonal area.

Where did you get that impression? I shop different stores and found most, if not all, items at Aldi have the same quality as the big boxes stores.
