Back in the 1980s I bought my first computer. Ted wait, the president of gateway computers back then said he couldn't think of a reason why anyone would need larger than 100 MB hard drive. Yes megabyte. I thought I would future proof and spend the extra $ to get 125 MB. That also was a 32 bit machine. And it had both the 3 1/2 inch and 5 1/4 inch floppy drives. USB nor optical drives existed. And then there's my dotmatrix printer that ran off of a parallel portā¦ Which no longer exists on current PCs. This set up cost me about $2000 Back then.
