Amazing thin and light with great battery life and cpu performance. I hope it goes below $1000 before end of the year :-)

plastic leather
integrated graphics not good for gaming
It's actually competitive with GTX 1050ti laptops, so it's decent for lighter games.

Had mine for a month now and I love this thing. This is about $100 cheaper than when I bought it.

The 680M is the best integrated graphics there is, actually better than the graphics that ship with the Steam Deck, which is used only for gaming.

What is the weight on this thing? I swear I couldn't see it listed on the Lenovo specs page.

How's battery life and build quality? Does it feel like a premium? Thanks!

Build quality is amazing...feels way better than the Dell XPS 13 I upgraded from. Not sure about battery life since I'm usually plugged in.

A 12th gen Intel laptop featuring an RX 3060 or 3070 can be had for this kind of money. AMD's APU lineup has never lived up to its potential because AMD would rather sell premium mobile GPU's than push their APU's to their full potential. Intel's new CPU's have narrowed the gap in terms of power draw and efficency. AMD chose to not allow people to game on their new APU's and they are payimg the price. Most people don't need the extra computing power provided by RDNA 2 vs. XE since it isn't enough to game on. Power users will continue to favor competitively priced Nvidia options featuring Intel CPU's. The fact that Ryzen 5000 and 6000 APU's are being paired with RTX 3060's and 3070's shows how wrong AMD have been in their GPU approach.

Most people aren't buying ultrabooks for gaming. But AMD comes out on top for ultrabooks since Intel 12th gen uses way too much power:

12th gen. Intel uses more power in full load but switching beween power and energy cores allows their cpu's to remain competitve. We aren't talking about one hour difference over 5 hpurs but over 7, 8 or 9... Most people are now used to charging their phones and other devices and there are very few scenarios where you will find yourself away from a power outlet for longer than 8 hours. Nobody cares about an extra hour of battery power when you still need to carry your charger and approach laptop use the same as always: Charge at home and while you can just in case. AMD have squandered their lead in power efficency by refusing to price their products more agressively. Intel are back on track in spite of the ARC fiasco and will try to come out on top with 13th and 14th gen CPU's. Both Intel and AMD research and reverse engineer each other's products so it doesn't take them too long to figure out each other's leaps in chip design and manufacturing technology.

Good Laptop at a good price. Reviews on YouTube are popping up and seem favorable. This will give the Dell XPS 13 Plus a run for the money! Thanks OP.

Can anyone check if Freesync can be enabled on the z13 non-OLED internal display?

https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/dh-013

EDIT: Confirmed it can be enabled.
