awesome tv
There are other good displays that you would have zero worry and save you money to boot!
Especially if you calculate in the $400+ people pay for that worry.
A very minuscule percentage of risk is certainly worth it for what almost everyone agrees is the best picture quality available up to the point the QD-OLED introduction
Personally..I have owned( or currently own) 4 OLED's, including the one in this thread , over several years and never had any issue like this..nor have I have heard of any issues like this , in numbers, from years of reading owner's posts on AVS forum
AND..if you are uncomfortable, the Best Buy/Geek Squad 5 year warranty is your friend with an almost no questions asked complete coverage

This is an ultra thin OLED model that is intended to be wall-mounted. The included wall-mount is very compact and difficult to do anything with once the TV is mounted, so make sure you have everything properly wired before mounting.
Also, because of that last point, you will definitely want cables run behind the wall to the back of the TV. It also has an extremely thin bezel design and is an incredible picture quality.
It does not have the same hard drive or access to painting/photos like the Samsung frame does from the manufacturer. With a little know-how you could set up something similar with a PC etc., but being an OLED you wouldn't want a static image for an extended period of time.
It is dramatically better picture than the frame, however, and unless your sole purpose for considering the frame is the artwork, I would consider this a better tv in every possible category.
Personally I have the 65 G1 and I replaced their compact mount with a slightly thicker tilting/swiveling mount. It's sturdier in the larger mount and easier to move around if I need access behind the TV, while remaining flush enough for my liking. I also installed an ambivision pro led back light and am happier with the end result since the TV is slightly displaced off the wall.
LG OLED Stand GX Series Stand and Back Cover [a.co]
(product name refers to the GX, but under "Customer questions & answers," LG Tech says it will also work for the G1)
For $1000 I would buy this all day long if I needed a 55 inch, you get an EVO panel so its more or less comparable to the C2 series and you get a 5 year warranty that DOES cover burn in, the warranty alone is worth at least $200, with the other model lines you'd have to get the geek squad warranty to get the same coverage.
I get that a new model comes out every year, but lately the upgrades have been few between model years, at this point there isnt much to improve other than the panel brightness. Even the 2020 CX models are fully up to date with 120 hz dolby vision so these are sure to get firmware updates for years to come. What I find nice is that all 4 of the HDMI ports are 2.1 so it doesn't matter which ones you use, which makes it a lot easier, especially when its flush mounted to the wall and its hard to get to stuff.
The 65 inch G1 brand new in box just barely fit in the back of my 2018 Chevy Volt so this 55 inch will fit in the back of probably most hatchbacks.
That said, I suppose there may still yet be a use for this microscopic screen on an Eyefinity setup for each of the silkworm habitats.
