I've had a Fold 3 for a year now:

PROS:
- Gaming
- YouTube / Netflix / other 16:9 content (inside screen shows YouTube content much larger than ANY phone)
- Manga Reading
- Possible Kindle replacement (crease is noticeable)

Meh:
-Battery life isn't as bad as they say but still not great. I get about 6 hours SOT. Most days I end the day with 40-50% as an "average" user
- Front screen is useful, but narrow screen isn't the best to type. It's great for one-handed use

CONS:
- IT'S HEAVY. Way heavier than even a S22 Ultra (by about 23%)
- Thick boi. But also narrower than a S22 Ultra. Still pocketable
- Phone is slippery AF. Need a case. If you want something that doesn't add bulk I'd highly recommend Spigen Air Skin. Has a rubberized coating.

I like the concept but just dont want to spend more to get the case and spen... i usually upgrade every two years but been sticking with my 3 year old note 10+. All the newer phones arent worth it and seems a downgrade. I just dont know if the fold will do it for me. Decisions...

Especially for existing customers. Considering selling an unlocked S22U 256GB still sealed I got for less than $400 recently (BB deal, including cost of trade in phone, taxes, etc.). Would be basically even trade after all is said and done. And yes I know what I'm doing in general, and have another same S22U unlocked in case I don't like the fold 3. Tempting.
Lol I'd love to buy that S22U from you

The fold is nearly twice the phone. It is a pretty even trade. But does that include a 3 year contract aka bill credit?

Not if you pay the 800+ tax upfront.

Yeah, not flip3 TMO/VZW from BB like in May + $50 watch, but Flip 4G from flea-bay for around $160, then Samsung TIV promo at BB when all Flips were getting $800 TIV, before and after coupon implementation, towards $300-400 off S22U's when they were on sale. . .and to spur these further BB purchases. . .a few times in May they sent me home with the $800 GC after ZF3 trade-ins because they couldn't figure out how to order the S22U, told me to oder them myself. . ."No Problemo!". . .
