I've had a Fold 3 for a year now:


PROS:
- Gaming
- YouTube / Netflix / other 16:9 content (inside screen shows YouTube content much larger than ANY phone)
- Manga Reading
- Possible Kindle replacement (crease is noticeable)


Meh:
-Battery life isn't as bad as they say but still not great. I get about 6 hours SOT. Most days I end the day with 40-50% as an "average" user
- Front screen is useful, but narrow screen isn't the best to type. It's great for one-handed use


CONS:
- IT'S HEAVY. Way heavier than even a S22 Ultra (by about 23%)
- Thick boi. But also narrower than a S22 Ultra. Still pocketable
- Phone is slippery AF. Need a case. If you want something that doesn't add bulk I'd highly recommend Spigen Air Skin. Has a rubberized coating.

I like the concept but just dont want to spend more to get the case and spen... i usually upgrade every two years but been sticking with my 3 year old note 10+. All the newer phones arent worth it and seems a downgrade. I just dont know if the fold will do it for me. Decisions...

This will probably trade in with Samsung for $1000+ when the fold 4 comes out in a week. Might be worth it to pick up and see what the value ends up being. Just return it if isn't what you want. Possible extra $300-$400 off.

Im an existing t-mobile customer. What does "with activation" mean. I just chatted with best buy and they say you don't have to add a new line. Can I use my existing SIM card and get it for $800?

I'm pretty sure paying full price or doing monthly payments require activation, unless it's an unlocked model. I did the pay full price option.

I just got it for best buy website linking to my tmo account, I didnt have to add a line, I upgraded without trade-in my OnePlus nord, what happened was the phone bill will be financed through tmo, on my case it ended up 800 paid over in 36 months, when you checkout, the taxes for the phone gets paid in best buy. So I don't think I added a line, and it said my monthly bill will go up by 22 bucks a month, if you bought it without linking your tmo account, you will pay directly to bestbuy

I don't think so. I think I've activated and returned a T-mobile phone at some point in the past couple years and never had any issues other than the restocking fees)
