These should be finished, has some sort of hard sealant, it wont stain. Its the table top for their modular stuff. I have a 6 foot bench, its a nice enough finish you may not want to mess it up

Wait, really? That's surprising; that makes it an even better deal, then. Rubberwood is tougher than most of the mass-grade Birches (grey birch and river birch being what we see most often in the states). That makes these as tough or tougher, and MORE sustainable (Rubberwood, as one might be able to go way out on a limb - babump! - and deduce, is used in the production cycle of latex. It grows super fast and is being grown for another purpose already anyway). Where did you find the reference?
