Please be easy on me lol you guys are cutthroat over future price predictions already but here goes..im not a PC builder by any stretch but I bought (2) 4k monitors and it surely doesnt look like 4k imagery. If I purchased this would it fit in my desktop PC? I picked this up on display sale few years back for $400 but think its time to upgrade.. will i need any other PC parts to make it this graphics card function with existing PC components?

I would sell this PC as a complete working machine and build a newer one. If you don't want to build then put the money towards a newer pre built.

Make sure it will fit into your chassis (length and height as these higher end cards are much thicker due to the pronounced heat sinks), make sure it will have adequate spacing around the card for airflow as well as general cooling within the case, as a 3090 Ti CAN pull up to 450W under full load on it's own. Also make sure your power supply can handle the power draw plus a decent amount of overhead.

* You don't want to exceed around 80% continuous of the power supply's rated power output, and that's with a high quality PSU. If you buy a new PSU, I'd stick with Corsair or Seasonic. Buy one that is gold rated or better, and fully modular, as it minimizes air flow obstruction and cable mess.

* If overheats, it will throttle and you may as well have saved $500 and gotten a slower card in the first place, defeating the whole purpose of paying a premium for such hardware.

* If you don't have adequate power supply, the best case scenario is a system crash...the worst case is, if the PSU is junk, you overload and kill the PSU, which COULD fry your entire system and start a house fire. If underpowered, you'd have to underclock/undervolt to get power draw down to safe levels, but again, that would defeat the purpose of buying such a card in the first place, and wouldn't completely remove the possibility of a crash or fire anyways.

Best of luck.

I wouldn't buy this at all, but if one did, spending thousands to build a new machine based on a card about to be lapped by lovelace, is twice as unwise as just buying this card in the first place.

If you need a high end video card buy it. I bought this non ti a couple of months ago EVGA b stock for $1300. Been using the snot out of it (Xplane w/ 2 4K mon) as I watch the price fall. I wonder how low it will go but don't have any regrets. Going hybrid made some difference in card temps and a huge difference in case temps.

Sell your old PC for what you at least paid for it and buy a prebuilt like this with some money out of pocket. It's 3x-4x more powerful and will last you for years before you have to upgrade again.

If not this then something similar but the point is, the money spent on updating this PC isn't worth it. Sell it as is and move up.

You'll find even better deals if you choose to build your own.

Waiting for $1K or lower.

Will this absolutely crush 4K gaming at 120fps? I mean I hope so, but people say nothing is enough in today's gaming world 🗿

NVIDIA's gross margin is 65%. That's primarily on the GPU chips themselves. Everyone is still making money at these prices.

Gross margin is meaningless, net margin is everything. Gross margin equates to net sales minus the cost of goods sold. It does not factor all the other costs which you don't know. Freight, labor, advertising, coop. RMA costs, building, R&D. etc. A restaurant usually has 65-70% gross margin -- most net under 10%.These prices are below my dealer cost. I've pulled all my gpu's from sale and only sell in full systems now.
