I bought a pair of those Sony refurb on eBay and they ended up not working. one of the buds would overheat so i went to target and bought a pair when they had them on sale so far that battery life is amazing. Compared to all the wireless earbuds I've had these have the best battery life. uou'll use them for a couple days and the battery life will still be 100% from my experience

Check your local laws if you are allowed to use earphones while biking. My place doesn't allow which is why I use a portable Bluetooth speaker on my bike rides.

How do these stay in the ear when running? Need to replace Galaxy buds 2 because the always fall out.

I have had these earbuds for about two years. The ANC is great for mowing the lawn, but it does not filter out wind noise if you're moving. So if you're on a bike the transparency mode or ANC mode will not work as a desired. Otherwise they're great earbuds. The audio quality is great for the price. I especially like the cases open but still small design since my earbuds are typically sweaty when I set them in it. I also use these for phone calls and zoom and the mic quality is acceptable. It has good noise canceling, however the actual audio is typical of earbuds in general. Not as good as my laptop mic in a side by side test.

All that being said these are a steal at this price.

I hope (and suspect) that pretty much everywhere is like this. Riding a bike while wearing earphones without pass through capability anywhere where you might be sharing the road with cars is just foolish.

no its not all places have that law /rule. Generalizing headphones for cyclist is definitely foolish.

I looked it up and definitely stand corrected. It was shocking to see just how many states are so irresponsible to their constituents!

Was going to buy n try both but these went oos before I could get them. They went oos and back at least once already tho so I'll keep an eye on this a bit.

Anyway from my looking into their diffs, the new note has 18mo anker warranty vs refurb dots is 2y via allstate. The notes have 6 mics each vs the dots have 4. The notes have bt 5.2 vs dot's 5.0. Notes have a "find my device" feature where they make a loud tone to locate them; the dots don't seem to have this. Reviews indicate the notes have 3 programmable actions per bud while dots only have 2
