The camping light/fan is okay at best. The light lacks a night light mode, so you have high-drain, low runtimes and limited options of very bright, bright, and darkness. The fan is small and weak, and even on high, can be a bit loud, yet produces very little air. Both are the opposite of what you generally want in a tent light/fan.
It probably would have worked better if the fan was larger and the light was smaller. A large, quiet fan that is nearly the full diameter of the whole unit pushing ample air at low RPMs, and a small cluster of 3 white and 1 red LEDs providing night light duties in the middle, all designed for quiet, longer runtimes would have made more sense for most.
However, if you want a very bright camp light that you only want to use for a short while, combined with a weak fan that pushes just a little bit of air, it's hard to beat at $10.
