X13 gen 2 actually is pretty good as well, with 16:10 screen already. so if you can grab a gen 2 deal with decent cpu/memory options, don't hesitate.
btw ,for gen 2, full HD camera is optional. and, btw 2, FHD webcam don't really work much better than 720p as expected. best webcam is sitll an external one.
My T14 Gen2 And Ryzen5 keyboard just feels less cramped than the X13 and the 1920x1200 in 13" doesn't seem to be any different than 14" @1080p Custom Scaling 110

I think these are specked fairly similarly in terms of dimensions, battery, and weight. It looks like the panels are the same too, at least in terms of resolution and brightness. The main difference I notice is the CPU and the price.
I have never owned a Thinkbook. Is the build quality that inferior to a Thinkpad? The nub is nice, but I've learned to cope without it.

If just looking for the longest lasting ultrabook and not gaming, psref specs suggests the X13 might get slightly better battery life, but given the 6800u is faster, I'd probably still prefer that given how small the difference is:
X13: MobileMark 2018: up to 15.67 hr with 724 performance score @200nits

Thinkbook 13s w/ 6800U: MobileMark® 2018: up to 14 hr
