It's based on a book? Didn't know that. I'm guessing the shower scene isn't in the book?
If more books had shower scenes, I would read more.
The release may drop in price, but unlikely for the steel-book aspect to be cheaper so it really depends how important that aspect is to you.
I was there when the animated series came out. The graphics were not a fault of the times; by all standards, they were way way way behind the times. I tried watching it, but the low quality of the animation didn't have me remembering to come back for the next episode. I wanted to like it. I'm hoping to pick up this deal when it goes on sale. Always good to have a hard copy of a classic.
