since usually any promo will require you to wait from 90 days all the way to 6 months (perhaps more), they can easily get away with it.
not even showing the evidence will help.

USBank own by China?
1) Apple the bonus offer code at account opening
1) Checking account with a minimum deposit of $25
2) Receive a total of $1000 or more in qualifying direct deposits to the new checking account within 90 calendar days from account opening.
After a 90-day qualification period, they determine if you met the offer requirements, and will deposit any earned bonus into your new checking account within 30 days.
Overall, good deal. Also, if they mess with you on the bonuses, do yourself a favor and file a complaint with CFPB. This is a must-know tip for anyone who ever deals with any banks. It will solve anything if you are in the right. They have dedicated people at the banks who will deal with CFPB complaints. Those people are very nice and will treat you like a king to get the issues resolved. The last thing they have is another lawsuit coming to them from the gov for doing some shady practices to customers. $400 is certainly not worth it for that. That's your safety net for this deal. Citi messed with me once. Filed a complaint. A very nice man called me and listened to me venting for like 1 hour and then resolved the issue. Done.

Key WORK AROUND for this though;
I added the US Bank acct to my Apple Pay cash card, transferred the 3K I needed for mortgage payment to Apple Card (which hits it instantly!), swapped linked bank back to my normal one, then transferred funds accordingly hehehe!
Apple says 1-3x bus days, but I've done this 3x times now and received funds in ~24hrs every time, works like a charm 😝

That's possibly the few ways to get something done with big business.
I've heard twitter also, but have fallen back to my former BBB complaint habits. Takes 5 min max
