FYI, they will try to screw you out of your promo bonus, by claiming the account was not opened with promo code included.

since usually any promo will require you to wait from 90 days all the way to 6 months (perhaps more), they can easily get away with it.

not even showing the evidence will help.

I got targeted credit card offer from us bank, $500 bonus after spending $4500 in 6 months. got my card few weeks ago. Looking at bad reviews here I think I will have to track my reward after spending $4500.

That's correct, you have 60 days from opening date to do 4k DD.
I just opened mine yesterday.

I think i need to provide my employer with US bank cancelled cheque (available on login dashboard)

External transfers don't work, even when linking account. Can't link it to my other bank because they require a "customer ID" that doesn't show up anywhere. Mobile deposits limited to $750 per day lmao.

I was surprised how easy it is to switch my DD at the company I work for. (A Large computer corporation.) Yes, moving it to where you really need it stinks. During the pandemic, got bored and focused on free offers, and kept the money separate. Was up $4765 but invested in bitcoin. Still, worth $2017 though. I'll guess I'll do this now.

That's great if you live in one of the states where the offer is available, but 2/3rd's of the US is ineligible.

You can get EIN over the phone the same day. Your business, but I don't understand why you want to share your SS number, when you could share EIN instead.
