I couldn't quite tell from the Costco listing what kind of AppleCare+ it includes. I am assuming it is the 2-year package then? Is this cancellation and refund for AppleCare+ something verified or just speculation? That would make this a real SlickDeal if it were the case.

We need some real world experience on the Apple Care Refund before the sale price is gone.

Costco refund policy is generally great but I would think that on cell phones it is a little different. Still could be worth the gamble.

The link from sheltem opens Apple music but I don't see a discussion on AppleCare refunds.

I don't know why my link is opening Apple Music. It's just the pricing page for Apple Care. Must be something that Slickdeals is doing to the URL.

I updated my post with the specific Apple Support article. It's been a few years, but in the past I've cancelled my Applecare within 30 days of purchase and the total amount was refunded as a check.

Thanks, the updated link works. How to determine if the Apple Care + is actually priced at $149? Or could it be some type of bundle that cannot be unbundled? Just wondering. I am very anxious to give this a try.
