When is the next generation surface scheduled to be released?

Thinking to ditch my Samsung S8 Ultra for something that can actual handle a normal workload.

Probably announced next month and available early october. Will def have 12th gen CPUs, and possibly base model with 16GB of RAM.

With cost increases however, might start at $1199 or even higher WaveEEK!

Even after the upcoming release, do you think the price on this model will go down? I need one now'ish but can definitely wait a month if things will come down some.

Yeah, went with this one last week with pro keyboard and pen and extra year of warranty.
