The only issue is no real keystoning and the way the unit is designed its meant to sit flat. So you have to raise it to the height needed for where you want it projected. Not a quick thing to setup on-the-fly if you want to maximize clarity and low distortion.
....that said, of you want a movie night and willing to figure out the best placement for dirt cheap - this is it.
Made a follow-up post with confirmation of specs.
And here is one in darkness: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j12bnuU
As for the naysayers in this thread...What the ever loving **** are you doing in a 55 dollar projector thread? You obviously only think projectors have one use case and thats to be brighter than the sun. Since your view is so effing narrow, I can't fathom what your minuscule brains thought they would find in this deal, but it's pretty apparent you're insane.

I've used a 32 lumen Sony Pico at 120in in total darkness and this is noticeably brighter.
Anyways, you get it... just adding even more info for others out there wondering what conditions and performance they can get out of this.
Get real! If he turns on a light or opens a blind, bye bye image!! Who wants to sit in the dark during the day and watch on a screen, on your dining room table???
Not me!

I'd buy this WeWatch projector bc it seems to be a bit brighter based on the youtube videos, but I also want the option to project on the ceiling. And no keystone adjustment is problematic. The Auking projector has neither of these limitations.
I grew up with 480p TVs so it wouldn't bother me to watch a movie on it, but at less than 4x the total pixel count of a true 1080p unit like this one, it is still easily discernible.

Also, I think you are dismissing others that have purchased this item, say it needs to be dark, but you keep going back to the videos!
Buy the dang thing or don't, but it's not worth the $
Trust me! You are better off with a 32" tv from Walmart. Better picture, better interface, can you carry 8 pounds? And it....works....in....the....daytime!!!

But it is BEST to be used in power save mode!!
Who would do that? Seriously??

32" TV is also 720p and this thing is 1080p. Pretty crazy to get a 1080p projector for $55.
There are videos on YT from a cheap projector reviewer with 12.1K subs and he has no problems using the projector with all his room lights on at 40 inches. It's not perfect but not bad.
