I own this... You likely won't find better for this price. It is noticeably brighter than any of the sub $150 projectors you'd find on Amazon. Make no mistake though, it still needs to be basically dark to get a good image from this.

The only issue is no real keystoning and the way the unit is designed its meant to sit flat. So you have to raise it to the height needed for where you want it projected. Not a quick thing to setup on-the-fly if you want to maximize clarity and low distortion.

....that said, of you want a movie night and willing to figure out the best placement for dirt cheap - this is it.

Made a follow-up post with confirmation of specs.

As for the naysayers in this thread...What the ever loving **** are you doing in a 55 dollar projector thread? You obviously only think projectors have one use case and thats to be brighter than the sun. Since your view is so effing narrow, I can't fathom what your minuscule brains thought they would find in this deal, but it's pretty apparent you're insane.

What they meant for 'Portable' is easy to move/carry it from one place to the other. It does not have built in battery. I purchased this projector fron previous deal and returned it. FYI, projector has native 1080p, and if you keep your screen size to about 40 inch, it is quite watchable even with low ambient light. But it wasnt just enogh for me. If you really want portable projector, invest little more and get Xgimi Halo or Wemax Dice, highgly recommend it.

Here's what happened to me:Ok, So I was all on board with this at $55.00. I was admittedly excited... I followed the link, I read all about it, I told my husband this was a good deal and I was going to buy it because at $55.00 it seemed like a good deal. Then this happened: I click the product and add to cart. A shipping page loads where I then enter my address. I do not have an account with their site so I key in my email address and hit enter. An $199.99 order page loads with a space to enter the discount code. I key in the code and hit enter. A blank page loads, then a blank paypal page loads stating it was sending me back to the site to complete my transaction and redirects me back to the wewatchtech site which now shows an empty cart. I did not know what happened because neither paypal nor wewatchtech show any invoice or amount of charge, let alone discount. I thought it was a glitch with my browser because the page was just white, but I now have a pending charge of $199.99 from *chengzhinen on my credit card. I have tried to cancel with the company but no response via chat, and the US customer service phone number is in Washington state and not open as yet. I have now notified my credit card company of the incident. My credit card company cannot do anything until the charge actually hits the account and is no longer pending, so I will have anxiety until Tuesday when I call the card company back to check and see if the charge has been cancelled or if it indeed hit my credit card for the $199.99 at which point I will dispute the charge formally and hopefully never fall for this crap again.
thanks for this. I'm out.

Because the other guy who you are replying to and yourself are clueless. The #1 poster's house is not abnormally dark. He just is not projecting a large image. With these dimmer projectors just don't project a 120 inch image and you are good. That image is likely around 55 inches in the pics and if you sit close, that is plenty big
Just for posterity, I would like to add some more info... the screen used was that $25, 40in pop-up WeMax sold a week or two ago and is indeed about as big as you'd want in daylight with the blinds closed, but at night (or light sealed room) this works perfectly fine with my 120in screen.

I've used a 32 lumen Sony Pico at 120in in total darkness and this is noticeably brighter.

Anyways, you get it... just adding even more info for others out there wondering what conditions and performance they can get out of this.

Your 7 inch phone is HUGE if you hold up to your eye too!

Get real! If he turns on a light or opens a blind, bye bye image!! Who wants to sit in the dark during the day and watch on a screen, on your dining room table???

Not me!
Again watch the reviews again on youtube. The image at 40 inches is usable with all the lights on in your room.

Ignore this person they did it incorrectly. I noticed entering the promo code has to be done correctly with no space at the end (when you copy paste) and there is a specific way you have to check out. I bought the vankyou screen that is $9.99 in another post and you can't use the quick checkout option if using a promo code

The listing page shows an image of the back, all of the ports are in the back. Might make it difficult to set so it projects to the ceiling easily. I just picked up one an Auking projector on Amazon (open box for $62). It easily projects to the ceiling, the ports are on the side. The only downside is you are blocking the fan when you place it this way. You can get a decent 45-50" image in a dim but not pitch dark room. You can probably get a bit bigger image if it's pitch dark. Mostly washed out in a well lit room though.

https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07MT...ct_details [amazon.com]

I'd buy this WeWatch projector bc it seems to be a bit brighter based on the youtube videos, but I also want the option to project on the ceiling. And no keystone adjustment is problematic. The Auking projector has neither of these limitations.
That AuKing projector is 1080p "supported", the actual resolution is 480p wide (800x480).

I grew up with 480p TVs so it wouldn't bother me to watch a movie on it, but at less than 4x the total pixel count of a true 1080p unit like this one, it is still easily discernible.

Buy that $9.99 screen that was listed here on SD recently.... all those screens are the same and are fine for the family movie night.

I've seen the videos and none are outside during the day or even at dusk. Go enjoy your summer movies after 10pm. I'm sure the neighbors will love that!!

Also, I think you are dismissing others that have purchased this item, say it needs to be dark, but you keep going back to the videos!

Buy the dang thing or don't, but it's not worth the $

Trust me! You are better off with a 32" tv from Walmart. Better picture, better interface, can you carry 8 pounds? And it....works....in....the....daytime!!!

The people who say it needs to be dark are likely using it at 120 inches or a large size. These people are not using it at the min size of 40 inches

What good is something if you HAVE to use it at its min size??

Like enjoy you new fast phone!!!

But it is BEST to be used in power save mode!!

Who would do that? Seriously??

Projectors have a lot of advantage over tv. They are much more portable. I would not put a 32" tv in my bathroom, but certainly I would take a bath with a projector. Also projectors reflect light unlike a tv which shines light into your eyes. They are much easier on your eyes at night. Also the big screen causes less eye strain especially if the image is not dim.

32" TV is also 720p and this thing is 1080p. Pretty crazy to get a 1080p projector for $55.

There are videos on YT from a cheap projector reviewer with 12.1K subs and he has no problems using the projector with all his room lights on at 40 inches. It's not perfect but not bad.

Min size during the day, max size at night. What are you on about? You can use 40 inch during the day in 1080p which is certainly still more than a 720p $120 TV that literally costs twice as much as this projector.

Also they did not charge any tax

Only minor complaint is they had lots of shipping options all were free. I selected the 2 day express shipping and it is delayed, making me believe they are not going to ship 2 day even if you select it. I'll wait a week given how cheap it is.

You do realize that it also includes a Roku? You would need that separately than the projector anyway and a screen to project on..so cost is irrelevant....
