I own this... You likely won't find better for this price. It is noticeably brighter than any of the sub $150 projectors you'd find on Amazon. Make no mistake though, it still needs to be basically dark to get a good image from this.

The only issue is no real keystoning and the way the unit is designed its meant to sit flat. So you have to raise it to the height needed for where you want it projected. Not a quick thing to setup on-the-fly if you want to maximize clarity and low distortion.

....that said, of you want a movie night and willing to figure out the best placement for dirt cheap - this is it.

Made a follow-up post with confirmation of specs.

As for the naysayers in this thread...What the ever loving **** are you doing in a 55 dollar projector thread? You obviously only think projectors have one use case and thats to be brighter than the sun. Since your view is so effing narrow, I can't fathom what your minuscule brains thought they would find in this deal, but it's pretty apparent you're insane.

What they meant for 'Portable' is easy to move/carry it from one place to the other. It does not have built in battery. I purchased this projector fron previous deal and returned it. FYI, projector has native 1080p, and if you keep your screen size to about 40 inch, it is quite watchable even with low ambient light. But it wasnt just enogh for me. If you really want portable projector, invest little more and get Xgimi Halo or Wemax Dice, highgly recommend it.

NO. I asked for a projector under $100. You did not provide one because the walmart one is over $100 after tax.

Not only that but the walmart one is lower image quality and dimmer.

All the projectors you found were dimmer except for 1 which is NOT 1080p.

Ansi lumens is the measured projected output. THis projector from wewatch is 12000 lumes which means it is definitely brighter than the other two models you linked. The only model that is 230 ansi lumes happens to also be 480p which is junk.
OK....

How about this one????

Guarantee that projector is not native 1080p. But in any case it is a good buy since you can complain to amazon and they will refund you.

The point is you have to be careful with listings of projectors because the resolution is often wrong. That's why this wewatch is surprising since it is genuine 1080p

Deal is still active. I found out that the discount code is case-sensitive.

12000 lumen, runs on battery, yeah right.
They don't claim it runs on battery. 12000 lumen refers to the projector bulb. 150 ansi lumens is the brightness of the projection.

Clearly mentioned 150ansi
Yes but the ANSI (American National Standard Institute) is the key rating here.

If you look over the last 4 to 5 years of these mini projectors, the marketing profiles have increased saying some are 4000 lumens, then 5000 lumens, then 10,000 lumens, now 12,000 lumens.

$55 is fine for this but for $200 you probably want something with 400 or 500 ANSI like this one. Amazon.com: USSUNNY 5G WiFi Bluetooth Projector, 12500L/500 ANSI 1080P Native Projector 4K Supported Projector Outdoor Movies, Support 4P/4D Keystone Correction, Zoom, PPT, 300" Home Theater Video Projector : Electronics

You're looking at the wrong number. It's 800 pixels wide, so thats a bit better than 720P.
No that would be a bit better than 720x480 which is widescreen standard definition, aka dvd resolution.

720p is 1280x720

A bit confusing as we refer to resolutions like 4K, 2K, etc. from the horizontal value, yet HD 1080p and 720p we use the vertical value

Please don't go by the day light test in this video. In reality it's much worse hardly you would see anything. For dark room it works like a 50 usd projector . Don't expect anything more than 50 Usd performance.

Edit : Forget to mention audio is crap . You can't hear anything unless you connect an external speaker .

that day light test is at the min of 40 inches. You need to shrink the screen

And that video to me looks like the light levels from say blinds closed, overcast and no direct light coming in, only ambient

How does this compare to the Vankyo 430 Mini Projector that went on sale for this price last year?
