My local Costco store in Austin, TX has the Bote Zeppelin 10' Inflatable Kayak for $499.97. It ends in .97 which mostly likely means final clearance.

It's listed for $900 at Costco online. Pretty good reviews and it definitely felt like solid construction wise. I haven't tried it out on the lake yet.

Poor c/s and at 10' this thing will be a poor paddler with no tracking, and zero glide. Some customers report that after waiting 2 years for replacement seats for one of their models, they still say they are on backorder. I called two of their stores in Florida and confirmed, but they will sell you a new kayak. Avoid.

This is a really good deal. They typically don't include a paddle from BOTE, but Costco includes it in their bundle. $149 value.

Also, I paid $699.97 a few weeks ago and ended up buying a 12'6" one directly from BOTE. Unfortunately, none of the Zeppelins direct from BOTE include the Paddle. So for $499.97 w/paddle, this is a really good deal.

It's certainly possible. I'm merely stating that if the Zeppelin is your thing, online the same bundle would run you $1048, ($899 w/o Paddle). Costco is $499.97 w/paddle.

We bought the 12' 6" one two months ago from REI. We love it. Can't say enough nice things about it.

Not sure why anyone would say the paddle's aren't high quality. They are up there with any $150 paddle around. If you want an inflatable for portability, this is a great option and we are very pleased.

Extreme YMMV, but found one at a local Costco (Tukwila, WA) marked down even further to $400 from $499.97
