Honesetly I don't know much about videoi editing. But I don't think video editing would really demand a powerful GPU exactly.

I found the system requirements and list of supported graphics cards for Adobe Premiere Pro here :

They support stuff like Nvidia 970 and Radeon even Intel Iris Xe
The list of AMD cards on desktop is shorter but they do have 6600 XT and up listed.
So based on that list and what they support this card is probably more than good enough.



what kind of video editing are you talking? Just editing some of your home videos ? Or is it a gift for someone whos a pro ?

Good price, sell that game card and you can save a little more. This is almost as good as Nvidia rtx 3070 but much cheaper in price. Gpu is looking good.

Don't use userbenchmark.com. That website is unreliable garbage for estimating GPU performance and doesn't remotely reflect real world performance.

The 6700 XT is about 6% more powerful than the 3060 Ti in real world gaming performance on average according to Techpowerup benchmarks:

3060 ti is 8gb. 12gb on 6700xt is better for qhd and ultrawide.
