I think the $20 is a front-end limit, not a back end one. I don't think theres code at gift card activation that says "all gift cards must be $20", I think that check takes place at the product page and this mistake just gets around that frontend limitation

Take a screen shot of the product page where $20 is highlighted. If it's not $20 when you get it, and Amazon doesn't make it right, report it as fraud to your credit card company. Don't let them get away with it.

I tried viewing from cart and "Buy it now." It works with "Buy it now" but not the standard going through the cart to checkout.
