If you have the amazon chase rewards. You can use points for the purchase I spent all of my 100 plus points! Great investment!

That's a waste. You don't earn more rewards when you use points for redemption. Better to charge to the card as normal, then redeem your rewards as a statement credit. They "gotcha"...
(By the way, it's exactly a 25% discount on future orders, not 27%)
