Buy it from EVGA, you'll get the magnetic wrist rest for free ($9.99 value) and $1.50 off ($13.49 total for both, shipped) by using affiliate code 50UTPBPIY5EZ6OC

If you ignored the "gaming" in the title, and it was pitched as "backlit RGB keyboard with dedicated macro buttons and multimedia buttons and replaceable key caps" - would it seem like a better deal?

For $15, I'm considering one for home office. I'd like a backlit red keyboard for working at night, and the macro buttons could be nice to program to some Excel/Outlook/Teams functions. It's membrane vs mechanical keys, so should be nearly silent. The media keys are also handy for skipping tracks, or muting when I get a call.

It seems like a good deal at $15 to me.

Eh...not everybody wants a mechanical keyboard. I do, and have like 6 of them...but I know plenty of people that prefer membrane. This is a solid membrane keyboard with a lot of "features" for $15 - seems like a pretty good deal to me.

      Thanks!

But man, the EVGA website is a pain in the ass to use on mobile. It's worth it though.

Apparently a gaming keyboard is a membrane keyboard that has the styling of a mechanical keyboard and LEDs.

I think a gaming keyboard in 2022 is something with optical switches. And its not like macros software has to be limited to hardware manufacturer.

How do you get the wrist rest? Shows out of stock to add. If I just add the code, it doesn't auto add the wrist rest.

I actually had it in my cart, but then it disappeared when I got to the final step...

I don't get the love for this. Non-mechanical wired non-ergo is never worth more than 15. rgb and macros are lipstick on a pig.

That's the issue I had with the X20 (their high-end model). The keys feel thin and cheap. The rest of it is well built, but the main thing you're going to notice is the worst part of it Big Grin

It types fine and it looks great though. I'm just used to Corsair quality.

That's great and all but in addition to losing the wrist rest you also lose the associate code discount.

These Glorious GMMK open-box keyboards are a steal for $50. High quality switches that can be replaced, various sizes, metal plate, full RGB, etc.

Not really. To me the 1st criteria is membrane vs mechanical. I know it's not $15 but the evga with silver or bronze keys offers a better typing experience. I tend to keep them until they don't work.
