I wouldn't say completely pointless, the 74 oz might be the best bowl ever to eat a monsterous bowl of chili, pho, other various soup or cold ceral out of if you didn't care you were eating out of a dog bowl. lol

The bowl looks like good quality. However I don't understand how insulating a open bowl on a pet dish that will stay out potentially days makes a difference. The water is going to be room temp in about 10 minutes. My dog was averse to chilled water and preferred room temp. Still a good deal, especially for the 74oz.

Lots of people in the neighborhoods around me, on the Nextdoor app they post it like crazy everywhere, put dog bowls of water out for anyone walking there dog or any loose animals, during this super hot few months. I'm in north Dallas, Collin county area of TX.

These would've been great for that because that water they put out, even with ice, would melt in this heat in minutes, and then turn to blazing hot if not changed out in an hour or two. That was one thing I didn't like about that tbh.

Tried to order online but showed OOS everywhere. Went to store anyway and found all colors available including the Ombre color in both sizes. Picked up 4 1 color each. Smilie

Yes, looks like online inventory does not reflect actual in-store availability. May have to stop into your local store(s) to check. Mine was oos online, but tons left in-store. Fyi.

Wow so I bought a large bowl and a small bowl. I commented saying that I always wanted insulated stainless-steel bowls. I got 10% and 5% cashback as well.
