Good product, but this price is pretty blah. CCC puts the average on this since June 2014 at $58. There have been a couple deals on this specific light right around the $40 range.
Of course, I don't have a time machine to replicate those deals. What I'm saying is though - great light, normal-ish pricing.
I have this and the smaller spotlight version. This thing is bright but has settings for lower light if needed. The hook on top is handy but the light wand is heavy and tends to fall over if not stabilized with something else or a weighty battery

It has definitely been around $40 in the past, checking my orders I got one March 2020 for $40.50. I have tried to keep an eye on this since then to grab another one and I don't recall ever seeing it get anywhere near that range since then. So I believe that CCC puts the average at $58 (going back eight years lol) but that is basically because this is usually $65+ or so and a couple times it has been in the $40s. But to my knowledge those are few and far between and likely never to be that low again. $56 now is a pretty decent price IMO considering I think the $40 range will never be seen again, the CCC average price seems kind of artificially deflated..

I'd tend to agree with that. Having had a couple of these for several years, I've definitely gotten $56 of use out of them. I take them camping, for working on cars, undersink plumbing stuff, crawlspaces and attics. Even grabbed them when a tornado rolled through and we lost power. Easily my most used DeWalt product.

Amazon was nice enough to show me my purchase at $39.99 summer of 2019.
This is a great all around shop light. Stands firmly on the battery and can be aimed every which way. Also has the hook for hanging. Multiple settings to keep you from blinding yourself silly under the truck. Would buy again.
Only thing it is missing is magnets but it's too heavy for that, anyways. Also a bit bulky for use as quick grab flashlight.
I have one that I got for around $50 on a deal a year or so ago. Super bright, 2 brightness modes, extendable top hook, sips battery power. The only frustration is that the head can fling down when moving it around, which can catch you off guard if you're just relocating it, but can be a feature if you want to one-handed flip it upright to change angle quickly.
