Save being obtuse for someone else. People such as equalme were clearly trying to apply the promo code to the 2TB. Telling him that it worked for you, when it clearly doesn't with the 2TB, was asinine and unhelpful. This is my final reply.

For anyone wondering, the promo code does not apply to the 2TB. Full stop.

It appears the same controller as a Seagate 530, which is also very good. Phison E18 controller.

It's probably one of the best.
