    It's a sticky tape and I had to remove it for my windshield replacement. I recommend heating it up and use the string provided to remove it. Otherwise, it's hell of a job.

    Literally doesn't matter though - it's only being used for power. To view the videos, just pop the SD card in your PC.


    I have this dash cam, and it's been one of my fav ones thus far.

    I purchased three of these for our work vehicles and just bought one last week. paid $89 for it. so 10 bucks off is a better deal of course. Don't forget to purchase the memory card for it

    This comes with a static film. so you stick the camera to the film and the film to the cleaned glass. This way you can take it off with ease. However, I haven't tried the film method myself, so I don't know how well it can hold the camera say, on a hot day or on a bumpy road.
