Anyways, my only complaint of this monitor (and ones of similar design) is that the ports point straight back instead of downwards or sideways. This design makes it a little more difficult to have monitors on desks that are against a wall and increases the chance of breaking a port if a cable ever gets snagged or pushed against something.

I have 27 4k and you have to scale everything to make it readable, makes my work laptop run hotter and more difficult to share my screen, and doesn't really provide me benefits outside of gaming.
You should look into pixel density. When you scale a 4K to 150% you're now going to get a major jump in how text and images display in sharp details. The sharpness is based on using much higher dpi capable monitor for the same image size.
Link please?
If you want to run 4k natively, most people will need something much larger than 32" without it causing eye strain or sitting a foot away.
I understand pixel density. It makes a big difference on phones, Iove high resolution phones. But on a 27 inch monitor the 4k just doesn't do much imo. I only share my opinion because someone said why would anyone want a lower dpi and I shared my reasoning
I understand. Also sitting distance is a major factor. Phones pop out due to the close distance we hold them. (Why they need to be 4x/5x higher in dpi)

The dell seems like a better deal to me. It has a more color accurate, brighter screen and the stand is much better.
Literally daily drive LG 27" 4K displays at native, no scaling. I sit back far enough where I can't reach out and touch the screens. This puts them about 30" away from my eyes. Every work day for about 3 years now.
That said for home office use, I agree. 32" 4K makes for a versatile productivity, gaming, streaming display.

400 nits vs 300
1000 contrast ratio vs 700
HDR400 vs HDR10.
I think it is worth the $50 updgrade.

Exactly. Much more brighter and it's very important for IPS monitor, for daily coding and editing work.
I think it would depend on how neurotic you are. They will probably both look pretty good. I have this monitor and love it.
