Thanks. Would this be good for FPS gaming such as COD? When the main picture shows a spread sheet, I assume the monitor is for work.

Depends on your budget. For FPS shooters id be looking for good response time and 100hz refresh rate. But your looking at spending probably about 100 more for one.

Refresh rates and response times are not static, some monitors handle slower refresh rates at faster response times better than a high refresh rate monitor that might have alot slower average refresh rates. The static specs they put on paper are only what they are capable of at max, but it doesnt make it good. Any good review site will plot the response times across a table showing what they are capable of at different refresh rates.

Go for the CostCo carried LG that has 165Hz and HDR10. I've got 2 and they're great for gaming as a base model. Not IPS though.

More Hz = smoother framerate less screen tearing, and a better overall experience. 75-100Hz fine for desktop/youtube but for games and other fast moving stuff you want more.
