Peripheral vision is the entire reason you buy curved.

Not sure what this guy even means by "conflict" with your peripheral vision, but a 34" curved works just fine for most people. Just go look at one at Best Buy or something if you have doubts.

Damn, this is tempting, but not really an upgrade from a 32" curved QHD 144Hz monitor.

It has like USB 3.2 Gen1 (5 Gbps) upstream port that might work - will it?

That should work from a usb connectivity standpoint but not for display capabilities or power. Several of Dell's monitors have usb connections with display alt mode and power delivery it may add a little more cost to add it to this monitor but would likely be negligible and would but this at the top for entry ultrawides if they did.

Don't buy curved. It will conflict with your peripheral vision.
What do you mean? I purchased a 34-in flat monitor 3 weeks ago but I think I sit too close to it because the edges are just too far away so was going to buy this one to replace it?

Debating between this or the Gigabyte M34WQ. This was 380 with 10% back on Prime day and I missed it. The Gigabyte is IPS and has KVM for 60 bucks more... hmmm

I have the M34WQ and actually posted the FP deal for it. Image quality is great and would love it. The only "issue" I have is that my desk is only 26 inches wide. Since I have a monitor mount, then puts the screen at only about 18 inches from my face and since it isn't curved it makes the items in the top right and the top left feel really far away. I don't think you could go wrong with either, but I ordered this and going to see if it makes things better (I also don't need KVM personally).

If you game in the dark lit room, this Dell is better. Just be aware or watch Youtube to fix the ghosting issues you may experience with this Dell monitor.

I have this monitor myself and I love it. I only game at night since I have a day job. I did have to tweak settings by the OSD to minimize ghosting.

The Gigabyte is a great option since it has KVM for multiple computer setups and it has better colors for content creation and games due to its IPS panel. It just boils down to your use case. Mine is just multiple browsers for work and night gaming so I chose the Dell.
