Not sure what this guy even means by "conflict" with your peripheral vision, but a 34" curved works just fine for most people. Just go look at one at Best Buy or something if you have doubts.

This is really my main use case to split my PC with my work laptop on the same monitor, but the few youtube videos I have seen using this functionality didn't look that impressive. It seems like either the aspect ratio is maintained and you are getting a smaller view or you have to switch to a weird resolution to take up the screen. If this functionality isn't that great on 34", I may need to start looking at 49" instead.

I used it in my secondary setup and later plan to use in racing setup, gotta say a great monitor for the price, heavy, great build quality and pretty fast for ultra wide

I've had this monitor for a while now and love it. It's fantastic for my productivity. I don't use it for gaming, but it's awesome for looking at spreadsheets and splitting the screen between two windows. You won't regret having this monitor.

I almost pulled the trigger on a warehouse deal for this monitor, but the freesync/gsync bugginess is keeping me away. People have issues getting it to work properly (lots of flickering), and apparently it doesn't work at all below 60fps.

I've been torn between this and the Gigabyte G34WQC A, which it looks like the main differences are the curve between 1500 and 1800. Unsure of how much of a difference does it make for someone using this for work or occasional gaming. Anyone have any recommendations?

I have a M34WQC - a 34" curved VA panel version of the M34WQ without the KVM switch. I use PBP for dual monitor from one laptop. The aspect ratio automatically adjusts really well when I'm connected via Display Ports, not so well with HDMI. I've also used the PBP for two computers (work and personal) successfully with DP connections.

Got this on prime day last month. First unit worked for 5 minutes until screen burned. Listened to reddit suggestion, bought a better DP cable to replace the stock one for the replacement unit, random line flickering and screen turns black randomly. Give up and returned.
for anyone buying this monitor, use a different DP cable than stock one. I have dual screen set up with 2 DP ports, I did switch port and cable, updated to the newest driver, nothing helped.
this is just my two cents, I may used all my luck for the maga million I didn't even win 1 number last month.

1800R. Why does nobody post this in the title? Also surprised 2 pages worth of comments didn't state this either. This is important, especially at anything above 32".

Instant disqualifier for me. Anything below 27" doesn't matter if it's curved or flat. 27"-32" I feel is the same, but 1800R would be welcome.

32"-38" I feel 1500R is mandatory. Near or above 38" 1000R is the only way to go.

It's just sad that so few manufacturers make 1000R. I refuse to buy (and advise others to do the same) another Samsung product after they completely screwed me over on a G9. So now I'm looking for the next best thing...
