Most of the higher tier Samsung watch models have had an MSRP near that in the past. Also really look at every other premium manufacturer pricing...it's normal

I just ordered the 5 pro LTE with watch 4 trade in for $300. Worth it to me for the extra battery life and durability. My watch 4 is pretty banged up only after a year.

Did you trade the regular Watch 4, or the W4 Classic? Just curious since the site won't even load for me at the moment.

Edit: Just got the page to load. This is weird... they're offering $240 trade-in for the GW4 Classic, $190 for the GW3, and $180 for the GW4. Not sure why the 4 would be worth less than the 3.

Looks like they're charging for the bands now, when I do the watch 4 40 mm it comes out to $95 with my trade in but they force you to pick a band which raises it to $135 minimum. bands aren't affecting the price of the watch 5 pro though
