This actually a hot deal.
Should have waited. Got the 16x2 sticks last month.

But 2666 @ CL19 = 0.007 lat? Isn't 3200 @ CL16 normally like $90 these days? Also seeing $77.99 now.

Correct me if I am wrong, but RAM Speed at 2666 vs 4000 is virtually no real difference.

Unless you use XMP like most folks with better ram do.

You are correct, you won't be able to notice anything. I sold my 4400 kit to get 4 sticks of these. Absolutely no noticeable difference in performance. I can live with these for another 5-6 years

Since this is branded as "gaming," just want to add the customary info of you don't need more than 16GB. Dual channel 2x8GB sticks will outperform this with similar clock speeds. Not to mention you can prolly get lower CAS timings. *edit* just took a closer look and these are really crappy bottom of barrel timings for 2666mhz.

And I specified gaming before all the video editing and etc folks pile in.

Depends on what you're doing and what processor you have. Ryzen does much better on faster RAM because of the infinity fabric. 3200 is the minimum I'd recommend on Ryzen. For gaming I could see a difference in my benchmarks on my 5600X between 3000, 3200, and 3600.

I haven't had great luck with Team Group memory. Just pulled 32 GB out of my server because it was causing instability.

Depends if your using Intel or amd. Also XMP also matters because if you stick a 4000mhz memory stick into a ryzen system without enabling xmp (DOCP) then your running at 2667mhz anyways.

Intel doesn't benefit much from the memory speed but ryzen benefits a lot and sometimes upto 15-20% performance gains which are significant.

roughly 14ns first word latency with this kit, with 3200 CL16 being 10ns. Lower first word latency being better overall

I have the same CPU; ASUS Tuf B450M--Plus Gaming; Originally had two 16GB G.Skill SK Hynix DDr4-2132 (1066 MHz); from this sale added one 32 GB DDR4-2401 (1200 MHz). Works good since I installed just this AN.
Normally it is good to add a pair in slots 1 and 3 or 2 and 4. Since this is already too much for me, I just went with one 32 GHz.
