My cheap 8 year old Sesame Street Cardboard-type table has bitten the dust. I can use the extra 2 chairs with this so the Grands have their own table. Repped!

Does kids picnic table worth buying new? The size seems small…one kid each side only. Debating used one or this.

Thanks for posting.

This is definitely small and I imagine if the kid is 5 or older it's too small. However, it is all solid wood and seems reasonably well made and incredibly easy to put together. Total setup was about 15 minutes but look ahead where to put the 2 wooden dowels. Don't ask how I know.

Another poster mentioned paint or poly on it, and I think that's a good idea to make this thing last the lifetime of it's "usability" given the size. If you had a spray gun, it would be such a breeze to just paint it all before assembling. I suppose that's the next slickdeal I need to get in on...

Thanks, is there a best brand you recommend? Are you pretty knowledgeable on this stuff? I've never messed with outdoor poly, but Im a huge fan of polycrylic to protect indoor stuff like drawers and shoe racks.

I have been looking for a cheap grill table for my kamado Joe jr for a while. I think this will do the trick. I'll use the benches for some plants.

Anyone have this or see this in person? Is it more for young children say <4 or can older kids use it too?
