Aside from that I'm pretty sure you can return and kind of redo the transaction to get a different phone. I think someone was already successful in doing so. As always it will depend on whether or not you get someone willing to do it, though.
I'm hoping the prices actually drop on Labor Day and that what we're seeing now isn't actually the LD Sale.

I did this Pixel 6A trade in to get inflated value on my iPhone 7, but now worried that this won't work out well. I got the new Pixel 6A and I will say that the resale isn't seeming great when I paid +449+tax from Google and already Amazon is selling them all day long at $399 and Ebay prices lower of course. Worried that something will get rejected in my trade in (I still haven't even gotten their trade in "kit" mailer) and with the very short return window from Google, I'm going to end up upside down on this deal. Wondering if I should press ahead or just return the phone to Google and go back to selling my iPhone 7 on Ebay. If they do give me the promised $290 for the iphone then I have a little room to discount the Pixel more and still come out better than market price for an iPhone 7 today, but if they screw me over and send back my trade AND I'm stuck holding a new Pixel at $480 including tax when market price is $350 or whatever before fees, then ugh
