We bought this the last time it was available. The packaging wasn't "new", but other than that the vacuum appears in perfect cosmetic and working condition. Battery seems great.

Grabbed this deal last time & so far my gf has been loving it. She's very happy with it. Shipping took forever. Obviously can't comment on durability since we've only had it for a couple weeks but so far so good

I just saw that. Never knew it had a high power mode. 7mins isn't very long at all so hopefully high power is for certain situations not necessary for daily cleaning. Never had a dyson.

Yes, that's pretty normal for their vacuums. It's intended to be used infrequently.

These are more realistic use case battery life times (from the description):

"Up to 40 minutes of fade-free power in powerful mode and up to 25 minutes with motorized cleaner-head."

Does it come with a head for hardwood?

I have a V8 and it does last 30+ minutes if you use it on the normal (not max) setting. I never use the max setting but it probably only lasts 10 minutes that way. I can do my entire 3000 sq foot house on a single charge but I move pretty fast and the floors are all tile with a few area rugs. I use the "fluffy" head attachment on the tile but that doesn't come with this version and costs $75+ to buy separately.

Honestly I'm not sure. Per woot: Refurbished – "Refurbished" covers everything from buyers' remorse returns to products whose defects have been repaired by the pros to damaged packaging to discontinued items. Each product comes backed by a vendor warranty OR our very own Woot! Warranty 518. Refurbished items may show some minor wear from previous use.
As far as a separate head for hardwood, it looks like it comes with a universal one for carpet and hardwood as well as some other specific use attachments but nothing solely for hardwood.

That restricts the location of placement and may not be eye pleasing if kitchen is open floor plan. There should have been a way to remove the motor head and place it on vacumm stick to keep it upright on the floor. The current is a bad design that needs fixing dock to a wall.

Thank you for the info. That's what I thought. I also have tile floors in most the house and some laminate wood. Do you believe the fluffy head attachment is worth it?
