The spray tech seems to have bad review compared to the 2500

Promo code "OFFER"
Have to scroll down bit on the final page just before clicking "placing your order" there is a +promo code you have to select and then add the code "OFFER"

Looks like this is an HVLP air based system, rather than an airless sprayer… I guess not much point for someone who already has HVLP guns with appropriate needles for latex paint, and a compressor, other than not having to deal with air hoses?

This likely won't handle latex. Save your money.

invest in a better one if you're doing a big project. The time saved and cleaning will be a lot easier. Lots of these cheaper ones clog up and are annoying to clean. I did cabinets with a better paint sprayer. the process itself is easy. cleaning up and prepping is the annoying part. You can use a brush or roller but that will take days and won't look as professional so unless you are doing a small piece of furniture, don't bother with a brush/roller. Time saved is worth the extra $.

Thanks OP! With tax and shipping, the price bumped back up to $70. I paint murals and need an inexpensive sprayer to initially cover the wall so this should work. If it works for some quick home improvement projects even better!

You can use CC. That is what I used. No problems, and shipped to CA.

Anyone know if this Flexio or spray tech is good for applying plastidip on rims?

You mean on this site.

"What's the hack? Can someone read every detail and rephrase it in a way that reeeaaallly spells it out...hmmm, that's too many steps...could you just order and ship to my house".

I think I'm just recreating a conversation with a family member...

It is designed to handle latex paint without thinning. How well it works, I don't know. But spraying latex paint and primers is explicitly stated as an intended use.
