Looks like similar specs to the one a little cheaper at Lenovo. I wonder what the differences are?

i7 processor vs i5, 16GB RAM vs 8GB and 512GB SSD vs 256. Otherwise, same.

I bought this one because at the end of the day, the cost difference was around $200 for me.

If I upgraded the NVME to a 512, that would have been $60ish anyways, and you can't upgrade the RAM, so rather than limit myself, I went with 16GB knowing it may be overkill, but at least I am future proofed.

I get the $799.99 when I am logged into my Best Buy member account. But, where do you see $799.99 with Totaltech Membership? The Totaltech is showing an additional $199.99 per year for me.

It's a good price. However even though Lenovo has the same for $50 more, I'm still buying there for two reasons
- 4 year on-site service and full accident prevention is $250 from Lenovo whereas BBY offers 3 year with no accident prevention for $299
- Retailmenot has 8% cash back at Lenovo right now, only 1% at BBY

I'm hearing bad things about the screen and thickness of laptop due to the touch screen. Also 1260P overheats sometimes throttles and underperforms the 1240P.

I'd think you should be able to buy the warranty from Lenovo after buying the laptop from best buy as well. Worth exploring the pricing for that!
